WHAT IS CROSSFIT ?*
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
CrossFit programming combines strength and power, endurance and stamina, balance and coordination, accuracy and speed, with balance and accuracy. A CrossFit strength and conditioning program is focused on maximizing neuroendocrine response, and is designed to build your performance as an athlete and safeguard you from injury in other sports.
CrossFit trainers at RCFN inspire, coach and enrich athletes using the most modern and scientifically proven fundamentals of sports science, exercise physiology, and nutrition training protocols.
CrossFit is an internationally established leader in strength and conditioning, and the protocol changes lives. RCFN opens its doors to everyone wishing to recognize their full potential; not just as an athlete but in life.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve trained disabled athletes and grandmas, next to MMA talents and the Nuernberg Ice Tigers. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. We have been rehabilitating the injured, guiding beginners to the sport, and forging athletes for over 5 years with tremendous success. Our training principles work.
CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general, and inclusive fitness. We have sought to build a program that will best prepare our members for any physical contingency—not only for the unknown, but for the unknowable. After looking at all sport and physical tasks collectively, CrossFit adapted all the physical skills and adaptations that would most universally lend themselves to performance advantage. Capacity culled from the intersection of all sports demands lends itself optimally back into all sports. Our specialty is in not specializing.
